Babson Summer Corps Activating Youth Entrepreneurship

Without a doubt, our Verizon Innovative Learning Summer Entrepreneurship Experience at Babson College program would not have been possible without our ingenious and dedicated Babson peer mentors. We’re so grateful for their contributions to the program and the learnings our students received from their leadership. It’s also such a joy when the knowledge transfer and transformation in a classroom is reciprocal, and certainly being a part of this pilot program with 25 Boston Public Schools students was an incredible learning experience for all involved.

One of the biggest hurdles for all of us was the language barrier, with many students coming in as English language learners with varying proficiency. But our diverse group of student mentors were up for the challenge and jumped in with both feet. We invite you to read their weekly reflection blog posts below, and follow their journey through the 5-week experience of this pioneering summer entrepreneurship program.
