Una Pizca Wins WIN Lab Miami Demo Night Pitch Competition
Babson College Women Innovating Now (WIN) Lab® in Miamihosted their inaugural Demo Night last Thursday evening with the program’s entrepreneurs showcasing their companies to the Miami community.

The WIN Lab® teamed up withVenture Caféfor the event, a prominent foundation in Miami’s start up ecosystem that seeks to connect entrepreneurs to resources with the intent of driving action. Venture Café’s wide following for their weekly Thursday night events increased maximum exposure for our WINners. With over 200 people in attendance, the night kicked off with interactive exhibits as each entrepreneur demonstrated their company. Attendees were encouraged to vote for their favorite demo for the Fan Favorite Award.

The night transitioned into WIN Lab’s Demo Night Pitch Competition where five pre-selected WIN Lab entrepreneurs, or “WINners”, pitched live in front of a panel of expert judges.Melissa Krinzman, Managing Partner at Krillion Ventures,Bob Fitts, Founder and Producer of SUP-X, and Ashley Lucas, Director of WIN Lab Boston, evaluated the presentations.
Andreina Morales and Ana Schloeter, Co-Founders ofUna Pizca, the most trusted cooking site in Latin America, swept the night as they won both the pitch competition and the Fan Favorite awards to take home $5,000 worth of legal services fromAkerman LLPand 500 business cards fromMOO.
