Tips for Entrepreneurs from the 2018 Summer Venture Program Cohort

去年夏天，the Blank Center had the privilege of accelerating 15 startups through theSummer Venture Program (SVP).2018年的队伍非常特别，因为今年是该计划的10周年纪念日。在10周的SVP中，我们的参与者已经完成了许多里程碑，but have also faced challenges.Here are tips for aspiring entrepreneurs from this year's SVP cohort:

- Do not start building your product right away.You need to fully understand the implications of the problem you are trying to solve for your customer before you build anything.
- Talk to everyone.Seize every moment.

- Spend time with other founders.
- 要有同情心，even when times get rough.
- Be bold and just do it.Get a team,你不能一个人这么做，而不仅仅是任何一个团队；one that you are willing to marry/get in bed with.
- 你需要有斗志和足智多谋。There will be tons of roadblocks and it's up to you to figure out a way around all of them if you want to be successful.Creative solutions and persistence will make the difference between success and failure.
