我对集中和选课的看法

I have heard stories of students telling me that they are forcing themselves to complete two formal concentrations,by overloading,放弃课外活动，拒绝兼职实习，cancelling study abroad plans,等.我建议不要鸽子把自己集中在正式场合。Concentrations are a great path to pursue if you feel very passionate in certain segment of business.然而，students force themselves to complete formal concentrations because it is viewed as "prestigious" or maybe it gives them a sense of stability and certainty about their career path.
In my opinion,把注意力集中在一个你不擅长或不感兴趣的主题上会适得其反，因为薪水和升职都是以价值为基础的——这意味着你将赚最多的钱，并且在一个推动你每天去工作的领域里拥有一份卓有成效的工作，因为你很享受它，and something that you have the skillset for and can perform exceptionally well in since you have the talent.
